Your gracious majesty I bow before you. I thank you for the kindness you crafted into words. To your request the can be only one answer your wish is granted your majesty. Everyone! It is true, I am a painter of pictures that is my real trade. More than this I am legitimate child of the royal house of art. Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, Rembrandt, Vermeer, Ingres, Dali, theses are the men how taught me my trade. My work has been compared to that of Botticelli by those in a position to make such judgments...This does not really please me. Now I am sure when you read Sally post some of you went to Google my name so you could look at my paintings...Alas you found nothing...Why?... Because I did not want you to find them. Contradiction! Why would I have an exhibition of my paintings and yet not want people to see them...Because...Permit me to tell you a story. During the summer I decided to redecorate the room I work in, against the wall are dozens of painting; I decided to clean and wash them, when finished I arranged them in the garden For the sun to revive their colours. My neighbor who has know me for nearly 10 years walked into the garden he gazed at the paintings with his mouth hanging open "were did you get these from?" he asked, "I painted them" I responded, "YOU painted these" he said it twice; "What will you do with them?" He asked "I will put them in my room when I finish to decorate it" I replied. Then is sudden burst of French passion he exclaimed "No! no, no, no, c'est vachement beau (extremely beautiful ) you cannot keep these for yourself". Later that day a child came to me he was 6 years old, in his hands was a jar full of coins he explained this was all the money he had in the world and he wished to buy a painting...I explained I could not sell him one because I was going to exhibit them for people to look at..."Ok I will come back after the exhibition" he said...So you see I have no choice. Image 1 Title V.I.T.R.I.O.L Landscape northern England 1988 oil on canvas The landscape you will see weighs 504 Kb. The image weighs 7.5 MB on my machine its 4 feet X 5 feet in front of me. To say 504 Kb does not do it justice is an understatement. I am on a dial up I have to upload it remember -O). In the foreground is a robed figure that's me, in my hand is a mahl stick.. That painters use for leaning over their canvas to paint fine detail...I am using it to understand the proportions between objects on the far horizon with my other hand I sign my name upon the rocks of the imagination. In the middle ground is a woman riding in a chariot Remember a painting is stereoscopic A camera has only one eye. Pay attention to the green its tone & colour "you are in England" compare it to image 2. http:/ Image 2 Title: THE INTERNET CONNECTION Impressions of Burgundy Oil on canvas 1997 with digital images 2010 This is the moment that the royal house of art connects to the internet The internet is not a billboard its a situation in space of endless possibly; In the picture the illusion of artists impressions is suddenly fragmented by a greater illusion the Internet. At this point I enter the Internet. A black void. Then I go to Mars. http:/ Image 3 Screen shot my new site landing page... http:/ Robert

When I saw the pic for the first time (on an avatar site), I thought it was photoshopped. But, the kid is real. Name - Emma. Her mom found me on Twitter and asked me where I got the pic from. I told her on that site and asked if I should take it down. She said she was fine and even gave me a bigger version. (The one I got from the avatar site was 50x50) The kid is cute as hell! If you wanna see a bigger pic, go to my twitter profile ( http:/ Sumit. |
