What did you expect? Of course that would be the "obvious" thing to say but it doesn't take anything away from what has happened - and dare I say it:

That all those that are now crying "murder!" ("punishment" to those who wronged us!" - which is about as lame as you can get because it truly says more about your lack of awareness of what the reality is than an outmoded & no longer 2010 reality of "justice" for the poor' were all, at some time or other complicit in the whole scenario & of letting it run its course (as long as everybody 'profited' from the chicanery) until the whole sham could no longer be 'financed'.

Literally as well as figuratively speaking by allowing accounting fraud, financial usurpery, consistent, deliberate & continuous corruption, bribery, etc. by looking away as long as it 'suited' the public mood.

The Powers To be will laugh at you for even suggesting anything like 'punishment'.

They will shrug their shoulders & leave you in the dust - the same goes for 'supposed' people in "authority" - they have absolutely no say in any of these big decisions because they do not get into these positions "to serve the people" but to serve the masters behind the curtain.

Angela Merkel just as Nicolas Sarkozy or Obama (Obomber, as I prefer to call him) all - without exception - are working according to their real masters' tune which are never visible to the general public, much less the dumbed down masses that are too lazy to do their own proper research & prefer to be spoon-fed with a simplistic 'rationale' rather than a true representation of the entire financial fraud machinery that has been in operation since the start of the US .

The United States, just as the European 'Union' were 'created' as economic political experiments.

And, you have said here that you have a theory of a conspiracy that may come to pass. Well, you don't need to "wait" for it to happen because it's already in full swing. It's just that now that you finally are waking up & smell the rot in your own backyard that your'e beginning to 'catch on'.

The extent of this crisis is way beyond what most people are truly able to fathom because it incorporates the whole web of financial deceit between the so-called 'economic powerhouses' - mainly the US, Europe & Australia.

China is a separate issue because they hold most of the United States' enormous debt.

It's all 'sweet' if you want to protest but if you do not even know the real enemy it's all pretty much a 'lost cause' & an enormous waste of energy trying to get "justice" from people who couldn't care less about the Greeks, the Germans, the Americans, the English, Canadian, Aussies, or Kiwis or the Polish, the Portuguese, Italians, French or whoever els happens to be 'exploitable'.

Naivité in economic & financial matters is the very tool with which those running the countries into debt are playing with - the 'optimist' who keeps on "thinking" there is something like 'genuine justice' is the very weapon that will bring people like you down because you don't want to get real & live in 'la-la land'.

Ignorance is deadly. If you have not caught onto that by now (and all those ranting about it here or on other threads), than you only have yourself to blame if you are not 'prepared' and are still 'waiting'...

It seems to me that too much sun has a sometimes negative effect in thinking clearly.

This applies to ALL the nations that have been living for too long in a 'subsidised' & falsely created 'wealth delusion' - with America being the epitome of this fabrication - because the real wealth is not with the people - nor is it meant to be - it is in the hands of a very few that control & manipulate the political & economic spectrum to their own ends.

People need to begin to understand that this has been manufactured for a much longer time than most of us are old.

This - IMHO - is a much more "to the point" accurate depiction of what is currently happening not just with the US but also with Greece in particular.
