<p>Last night I tried to call a friend.&nbsp; She has a mobile phone.&nbsp; I left a message.&nbsp; Today I got Canadian Pharmacy spam from her email address.</p> <p>I know she has my email address on file.&nbsp; It seems to me there is some sort of security or privacy breach here.&nbsp; Any clues what is going on with that?</p>

<p>Leaving a message on a cell phone shouldn't get you any spam. It sounds like her system has been compromised and all her stored email addresses have been harvested. This is common for viruses/worms ever since Klez.h</p> <p>Try to get a hold of her and let her know she's probably infected.</p>

<p>Thanks Lawrence.&nbsp; That was my suspicion, too - but I'm so techno-clueless that I wanted to be sure I was on target.&nbsp; I already emailed her back with the message I received and told her that was what I thought about it.&nbsp; Good to know I didn't mislead her.</p>
