What should the TM Rules include?

Obvious rules: no spam, no blackhat/illegal crap, what else?
Was just noting a new classified with a link to an affiliate prog... which could lead to a ton of spam if it's allowed... so thinking "No Direct Aff Links"... if you have your own page with a review of an affiliate program, that may be different... not sure,
What does everyone think?

Here's a suggestion from my Dad:
TM rules should include common sense components such as being concise, polite and considerate.

Hi, Jared:
I applaud you for wanting to work on some basic rules. Best to do that now before membership swells and we all get overly enthusiastic with our TM blogs, pages, classifieds, etc.
The "Affiliate links" issue is a tough one. Most forums (and some social sites) say "no affiliate links period" — only links to your own website or blog page.
In a site like TM, that might get difficult to administer. The problem is, some marketers will be reasonable in how they promote and post links ... and others will try to take advantage of the system.
I will support your decision either way on the affiliate link issue. If you choose to restrict direct affiliate links, now's the time to start it and in the long run, it's probably best for the TM site. (My opinion.)

I think no direct affiliate links is a great idea, just to avoid an influx of spammers. There probably should be something in there about not wanting a bunch of deliberately offensive crap like hate mongering or that sort of thing. Nothing specific but something that leaves it to the discretion of the administration? That way you're covered either way.
