These days, a number of sites support Unicode characters.  This allows you to use more than just the characters you see on your keyboard.

Support may vary depending upon whether you use a Mac or PC.  This list here will display only those that can be seen on both systems.  Let me know if there are any characters that you cannot see on your screen, so that I can remove them from the list.
